What is nonick?
nonick is an international technology event that is held every year in Bilbao, Spain. It includes panel discussions, barcamp-style workshops, a startup competition and a night party.

Why nonick?
nonick stands for no nick. This is because, at this event, Internet users are expected to act, for once, without their nicks. nonick is the successor of a previous event called Blogak, which was inspired on Paris-based Le Web. Blogak, which stands for “Blogs” in Basque, was started by Alianzo in April, 2006 and was the first Web 2.0 event in Spain.

Why in English?
nonick is an international event and English is the common world language. Panel discussions, competitions and the party will be held in English. For open workshops any language can be used, at the choice of the workshop organizer.

Who can come?
We will open registrations in the following days.

What is Startup 2.0?
Startup 2.0 is a competition where any startup can show its social network. If you want more information, click here.
