Zaryn Dentzel, Tuenti’s founder, will close nonick 2010

Zaryn Dentzel, the creator of Tuenti, the most successful and important social network among young people all over Spain, will close the nonick 2010 conference. Dentzel, now 27, created Tuenti when he was 23. Now based in Madrid, he first came to Spain on an exchange program while still a student in the US. It was then that he created Tuenti, at first trying it out only on his closest social circle. Now, four years later, Tuenti has 8 million users, almost all of them students, who use it on a daily basis.

The confirmation of Dentzel as a participant at nonick puts the final touch to an impressive line-up of speakers for this year’s event, which will be opened on Friday the 14th by Jennifer Preston, Social Media Editor of the New York Times. Speeches, talks, roundtable discussions, workshops and networking sessions complete this year’s event, which aims to become a European benchmark in Internet issues.
