Welcome to nonick
nonick is an International Conference on Internet Trends that is held every year in Bilbao, Spain. It includes panel discussions, barcamp-style workshops, a startup competition and a night party. The 4th edition of nonick will take place on 15 and 16 June 2012 in the EiTB headquarters in Bilbao.
nonick stands for no nick. This is because, at this event, Internet users are expected to act, for once, without their nicks. As international event, nonick’s main language is English, the common world language. Panel discussions, competitions and the party will be held in English. For open workshops any language can be used, at the choice of the workshop organizer.

* Yale-trained lawyer with first-class experience in top global law firms. Specialized in mergers and acquisitions and securities law.
* Graduated magna cum laude (first honours), Phi Beta Kappa (National Honour Society) from Yale College. Was one of two Executive Editors at the Yale Law Journal.
Startup 2.0
Startup 2.0 is a European non-profit startup contest. Held for the first time in 2007, this competition aims to to promote and reward European technologies startups (either created or willing to do so in the future).
Startup 2.0 2012 focuses on Gaming to give fledging game developers the opportunity to participate in this Contest. An international Jury and Internet users will vote for the best 5 games. During nonick, these 5 selected startups will present their projects for 5 minutes (each) and people will vote to select the winner.
The 5 best projects will present their game at the 4th edition of Nonick on June the 15th and 16th.
